On a bright and warm day at Castle Avenue, the U15s completed a comfortable victory over Clontarf even if the final margin of victory (9 runs) suggested that the match was alot closer. Batting first Malahide set a useful target of 139 for 5 in their 30 overs, openers Riley Shoebridge (34) and Alex Davies (20) set the foundation with a 50 partnership , John Burke batted excellently for his 27no and Clontarf kindly contributed with 28 extras. Malahide's bowlers made early inroads into the Clontarf batting lineup at one stage reducing them to 12 for 3. Ryan Condron took 2 for 23 and Sean Drumm bowled a remarkable spell of 2 for 3 in 6 overs including 5 maidens.  Malahide let Clontarf back into the back during the middle overs but David O'Halloran and Zac Woods-Oliver closed out the match to give Malahide a well deserved victory. A good win for the lads and the team was well led on the day by captain Jacob Whelan.
