4 LBW's, all stitched, on a slow, low track in Anglesea  Road, contributed to a poor score of 165 in 38 overs by the 3's.  Gilmore (32), Stewart (29) and Horstmann (21).  Father and son spinners Jim (2) and Rex Walsh (4) did the damage.  Merrion did not seem to be bothered by the bounce and rattled off the score in 29 overs for the loss of two wickets.  Alan Parkinson (97) on a glorious day against the backdrop of the impressive new clubhouse.
