Malahide won the toss and chose to field first. Tight bowling from our openers meant that Rush were finding it hard to make runs. Aoife Mitchell bowled two wickets in her first two overs followed later by two maiden overs and Saibh Mitchell took two great catches though sadly one was off a no ball.

Our opening batters were Abby McCabe who made a quality 18 runs before being bowled and Katie Brophy who carried her bat with 26. Teagan Devally hit some impossible shots before being caught for 10 while Juliette Evans Garrett made a quick 24 which included four 4s and a 6 before being caught behind. Rush had set a target of 102 and it took Malahide 15.5 overs to reach it.
