Malahide CC along with 11 other clubs have joined together to create the first "Development League" in an attempt to give youth players a quicker and better introduction to adult cricket.

The 12 teams have been split into two groups with Malahide up against Civil Service, Adamstown, Rush, Phoenix and the Hills on a home and away basis (10 matches).

Matches will be 30 overs per side and teams will consist of a maximum of five adults.
