Malahide Legend and alround Top Bloke, Hamish Manks, was back in his home town of Christchurch this week to visit his folks and for The Christchurch Racing Festival. While he was there he caught up with Cameron Shoebridge who is currently in New Zealand playing for Old Boys Collegians CC (Hamish's home club).

Old Boys Collegians are one of Chistchurch's oldest cricket clubs and they are the home club of a number of former and current New Zealand Internationals including  Sir Richard Hadlee , Shane Bond, Ross Taylor and Corey Anderson. One of Cameron's current teammates, Todd Astle, has just been selected for the Black Caps for next week's Test Match against Pakistan.

Cameron has been playing in the Prems Side (1st Grade) in the Christchurch Premier League and has been playing both 50 over and 2 day multi-innings cricket . During the week he is working for a Christchurch based company that provides specialist coaching to local primary and secondary schools.  Keeping the Malahide reunion theme going, during the Christmas break he is planning a trip down to Dunedin to meet up with Will Kindley and Felix Page .
