The Wing Commander's troops went along way to ensuring that Malahide 2nd XI will be playing in Division 3 again next season when they secured their 5th League win of the season with a comprehensive victory over Leinster 2nds at Observatory Lane. Malahide bowled Leinster out for just 76 in the 17th over, Leslee bowled a superb spell that tore the Leinster top order apart and ended with figures of 5 for 21, Glen Kirwan was hooping the ball and in a spell that didn't even get to the end of his 2nd over, achieved remarkable figures of 3 for 4. Cameron who just flew in from Scotland this morning chipped in with 2 wickets. In reply, Malahide were in a bit of early trouble when 3 quick wickets left them on 13 for 3, but a composed 46 not out from Cameron with support from SJ De Klerk (11) and Michael Hingston (7 no) saw the visitors home in the 23rd over.
