Malahide U11 girls convincingly beat The Hills in the Cup Final in Skerries on Thursday afternoon. Malahide batted first and looked very strong from the start with a batting total of 101 with the loss of only two wickets. Extremely sharp fielding and excellent bowling from the whole team saw Malahide taking 6 wickets and The Hills totalling 43 runs. The cup team consisted of Beth Deacon (capt), Kate McKenna (wkt) Katie Brophy, Juliette Evans Garrett, Chloe Bryan, Teagan Devally, Saibh Mitchell, Niamh Coleman and Emelia Tarbox who bowled 3-3. Well done girls it is the first cup of the season for Malahide, let's hope the first of many.
