Finally the U11 girls had some opposition to play against and this match ended in an exciting tie. Ella Bourke had an excellent debut for MCC and showed no nerves as she batted and made 5 runs. Emelia Tarbox her fearless batting partner also bowled magnificently with 2 for 5. Teagan Devally also kept the score down by bowling 1 for 3. Kate McKenna and Saibh Mitchell both showed great skill at wicket keeping and put the Pembroke batters under pressure. Rebecca Clarke also took a wicket and batted solidly. The pressure was on our final batting pair and Chloe Bryan and Niamh Coleman came up trumps. Chloe scored an incredible 19 runs which brought the game to a tie.
