Today will see the installation of our new Artificial Pitch and underlay up on the Lady Acre (Pitch 2). The existing mat has given The Club great service , for those who can remember it used to be located on the outfield of the main pitch and was moved to the top pitch when the ground was redeveloped, so to get a brand new professional standard facility for Pitch 2 is a significant development at the club. Even at this early stage of the season the outfield on the Lady Acre is in great condition and the addition of the new Artificial Pitch further improves the playing experience not only for a large section of the players at the club but also for the wider community.
