Match report Another tough day at the office for the 5th XI against a North County side who seemed to be much stronger than their early season results would suggest. Basically our opening overs were too loose and the 50 runs they scored off the first 7 overs gave them a perfect platform to post 237. Suhaib came back well, taking 5 wickets in his second spell, Alex Davies bowled much better than his figures of 2 for 39. The highlight though was a running catch by Ryan Condron with the ball dropping over his shoulder...a truly outstanding catch.In reply we were always struggling to keep up with the rate and lost early wickets. David O'Halloran was once again the rock that our innings was built on with an excellent 71 and he received great support from skipper Jef Oilver with a powerful 34. Once again an outstanding showing from all the youth players.
