Match report The Taverners played a midweek on Wednesday 15th June which resulted in a very exciting game. The Cavaliers were put in to bat which looked a bad decison as they raced to 70 runs off the first 10 overs but were then held to 133 by some accurate bowling and good fielding.


Niall O' Brien (12) and Richie Senthi (16) gave the Taverners a steady start then Mike Shoebridge (22), Scott Walker (22) and Danny Smith (21) put Malahide in a winning position. After Danny was out runs slowed up but 17 not out by Dougie Keegan brought us to the last ball. Needing 3 runs to win the last ball was a wide and off the extra ball a run was scrambled to the wicket keeper to tie the match.
