Match report 2nds hold off Clontarf.
Despite the delays and interruptions due to rain this reduced over game was a thrilling battle. Malahide won the toss and chose to bat. Two excellent innings by Robert Weir 68 and Michael O'Brien 48 help set a total of 243. D/L calculated that Clontarf needed 255 off their 48 overs to win. Despite a wonderful 72 by Niall Delany and a late brave effort by Paul Ryan Clontarf fell short by 1 run with Ryan Bowled out by Atif Kamal with two balls to spare.
