Match report An agonising defeat against Merrion 7ths at Bird Avenue, The fact is that had the home team's umpiring even been remotely fair then we would have won but it wasn't (not even close) and so we lost. All in all a great performance by everyone with some outstanding individual highlights including 54 from David O'Halloran, 26 no from Jef Oliver, 23 from Howard Askew and 14 from Riley Shoebridge. The Malahide bowling was excellent, Suhaib Naseem (making a welcome return to Malahide colours) took 3 wickets and Ryan Condron and SJ De Klerk took 2 each (these were SJ's first wickets in senior cricket). On the day we probably took about 16 wickets but in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king !!!!
